Circulor awarded prestigious B Corp™ Certification

Circulor joins a global community of purpose-led organizations that meet high standards of social responsibility and sustainability.  

 

July 6, 2022 - Circulor, the leader in supply chain traceability, has announced today its certification as a B Corporation™ (B Corp), joining a growing group of companies reinventing their businesses by pursuing purpose as well as profit.  

The tech company has been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corporation movement, for meeting rigorous social and environmental standards, which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit. The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’s operations and covers five key impact areas, including Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers.  

The certification process requires applicants to reach a benchmark score of over 80 –– Circulor scored 115.5 points out of 200, outperforming other B-Corps in the UK.

Circulor provides visibility into the world’s most complex industrial supply chains, enabling organizations to prove responsible sourcing, reduce emissions, and fulfill their ESG goals. Also, in using a distributed ledger, Circulor’s technology and platform strengthen connections between supply chain participants, creating compounded, system-wide improvement in transparency and sustainability. 

Within the company’s internal operations, Circulor scored particularly high in terms of diversity. Circulor employees come from diverse backgrounds from all over the world and are proud to have an almost 50/50 male to female ratio, with some teams having more women than men.
